Wunderground 200 is a thrilling, site-specific experience that transports you through two centuries of railway history. Taking place in the atmospheric Brunel tunnels beneath Bristol Temple Meads, this unforgettable event combines cutting-edge multimedia, theatrical storytelling, and interactive installations to celebrate the past and future of train travel.

WHAT IS IT?
Wander through time in an underground adventure brought to life with digital projections, larger-than-life characters, and sensory displays.
From the birth of the steam engine to the sustainable travel innovations of tomorrow, Wunderground 200 invites you to discover how the railways shaped Britain’s industry, communities, and cultural identity.



Be guided by historical figures, take part in educational games and see how the tracks of our past connect us to the railways of the future!
Wunderground 200 runs for a total of 90 minutes starting with a 60 minute immersive performance and ending with 30 minutes of drinks, snacks and selfies in the bar. Please arrive 10 minutes before doors.







This experience is for children aged 5 – 10 years old, although older and younger siblings are welcome.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Relaxed performances with reduced sound and lighting effects will take place at 12:30pm on Tuesdays and 3pm on Saturdays.

How many children can an adult supervise?
One adult can bring up to 3 children with them
What is a relaxed performance?
A relaxed performance is tailored for neurodiverse visitors. The venue will keep the lights on throughout, provide a breakout space and restrict overstimulation from loud or unexpected noises
The audience will be free to come and go as they please and can make all the noise they like
Children must be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 ratio for these performances
Can I swap my ticket for a different date?
Once purchased, tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable
Are there refreshments?
Hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks will be available at the end of the visit
Where is the nearest parking and public transport?
We are situated right next door to Temple Meads station, so train and bus stops are within 200 metres. The nearest parking is at Temple Meads APCOA car park, which is less than 200m from the venue.
